Work Student - Satellite Deployer Production

Job description

In the fast-growing small satellite market, we are looking for a motivated work student who can assist our satellite deployer production team during the Summer period (July-August). You will support in the hands-on assembly and operational preparation of launch equipment during a high-activity summer period. The role includes a variety of technical and logistical tasks essential to delivering high-quality flight hardware on schedule.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Assist production team in the assembly, inspection, and packaging of deployer hardware.

  • Prepare tools, components, and workspace/workstations for daily production activities.

  • Handle light logistics, including pick-up/delivery of parts, documentation, and hardware between company facilities and suppliers (requires driver’s license).

  • Track inventory levels of parts and consumables; support restocking.

  • Participate in ad hoc tasks as needed across the production and integration team.

Job requirements

  • Valid driver’s license (B category) – essential.

  • Available in July and August.

  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of task & processes.

  • Interest in aerospace, engineering, or hands-on technical work.

  • Reliable, precise, and safety-minded work ethic.

  • Ability to follow technical instructions and quality processes.

  • Comfortable operating within structured production processes and tools, yet adaptable enough to tackle unplanned tasks and shifting priorities.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); Dutch is a plus.

  • Demonstrates clear, concise communication, and effectively conveys information to all levels of the organization.

Preferred:

  • Technical background (student or recent graduate in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering).

  • Basic experience with hand tools or mechanical assembly.

  • Familiarity with inventory systems or documentation tools.
