Team Lead SAIT

The System AIT (SAIT) team at ISISPACE, is responsible for the satellite-level integration and test activities within our satellite

projects. It is a dynamic team where last-minute work is not rare and problems need to be solved on the spot, while

maintaining a high-quality standard. We are looking for a Team Lead who makes sure that everything runs smoothly and

create an inspiring, healthy team environment with open communication lines. If required, Team Leads may also contribute

to discipline-specific work alongside their team members.

Specific tasks and responsibilities include:

Strategic Alignment & Planning

• Translate department goals and initiatives into clear team objectives and plans.

• Define priorities, expected results, and assign team members to projects based on needs, competencies, and capacity.

• Support resource planning in coordination with internal stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the discipline team.

• Provide professional guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.

• Monitor progress, address issues, and escalate where necessary.

• Conduct performance reviews and identify development and training needs in alignment with management.

Process & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and maintain team processes and improvements in alignment with company and department initiatives.

• Ensure team processes are documented and adhered to.

• Coordinate process improvements with other stakeholders, teams, and departments.

• Ensure team members comply with applicable processes, standards, rules, and regulations, and address deviations.

Collaboration & Culture

• Facilitate effective collaboration with internal stakeholders.

• Promote a positive, professional, and supportive team environment.

• Support recruitment and onboarding where applicable.

• Degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering or a related field.

• Previous experience in space systems AIT.

• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in a leadership or team management role.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to guide, mentor, and collaborate effectively.

• Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable team objectives.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Proficiency in monitoring progress, addressing issues, and ensuring compliance with processes and regulations.

• Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage day-to-day activities and long-term initiatives.
