Job description
As a Radio Frequency Engineer in the Research & Development department, you’ll work on new developments for the next generation of ISISPACE spacecraft. Together with your colleagues you will both design and verify RF systems as they progress from concept to deployment. You will be responsible for the RF performance of spacecraft equipment, as well as addressing Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) concerns.
Your main responsibilities:
Design of RF systems for our spacecraft, including component selection and architecture definition.
Collaboration with electronics, software, and mechanical engineers to build prototypes and engineering models.
Simulation of proposed systems in order to inform the design process.
Develop and execute test plans to validate RF system performance and ensure compliance with requirements.
Analyse data from RF tests and simulations to diagnose issues, optimize system performance, and propose innovative solutions.
Identify and mitigate RF-related issues, such as interference, noise, and EMI/EMC
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and compliance documentation.
