Quality Control Engineer

In this role you are part of the Quality Control department and your focus lies on managing QC requirements during design, development, manufacturing and testing phases. You handle the incoming and outgoing inspections of materials, parts, and products before they are released for storage, production, projects and customers. You check if certificates, procedures, and test reports are in accordance with the requirements, in close collaboration with the quality team, production coordinator and project managers. You ensure and monitor that the ISISPACE Quality Management System is actively implemented during the production phase.

Specific tasks and responsibilities include:

• Incoming and outgoing Inspections on parts and materials, both mechanical and electrical (with primary focus on electrical).
• Provide inputs and take care of the Non-Conformance Management Process and reports.
• Assist during the preparation of project- and product reviews, such as SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR/TRB.
• Provide input during the preparation phase of internal and external audits.

• Secondary vocational education or BSc. degree in a relevant subject.
• 2-5 years of experience in a quality control position, preferably in the space or similar industry.
• Familiar with ECSS and/or IPC standard would be a plus.
• Energetic team player with a positive mindset and excellent communication skills.
• A great sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Success oriented and going the extra mile if needed.
• Proficient in English (speaking / reading / writing).
