Quality Control Engineer

As a Quality Engineer at ISISPACE, you play a key role in ensuring that every component, subsystem and final product meets the high internal and external quality standards required for satellite missions. Our satellites are used worldwide by government agencies, research institutes, universities and commercial customers, making your contribution essential to mission success. In this role, you will be responsible for performing incoming inspections, assessing subsystem quality, maintaining quality documentation and driving continuous improvement across the production process. You work closely with engineers, logistics and suppliers to verify that all purchased goods, concepts and integrated subsystems satisfy the requirements defined for each mission. Your daily work includes assessing delivered goods, supporting engineers during testing, reviewing and releasing subsystems, and preparing high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders. You will also help keep internal norms and quality criteria up to date, ensuring full alignment with relevant industry standards such as ECSS, IPC and NEN.

• Secondary vocational education or BSc. degree in a relevant subject.

• 2-3 years of experience in a quality control position, preferably in the space or similar industry.

• Accuracy: You work with precision and attention to detail, ensuring inspections, measurements, and reports are reliable.

• Communication: You communicate findings clearly with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders to support effective quality decisions.

• Integrity: You act honestly and responsibly, following procedures and reporting issues transparently.

• Quality awareness: You maintain high quality standards and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

• Decision making: You assess quality data and inspection results confidently to make sound, timely decisions.
