Job description

In the fast-growing small satellite market, we are looking for a project manager to strengthen the Launch Equipment & Services department. This team is focused on the development of launch equipment as deployment systems and sequencers, and provide small spacecraft launch opportunities by offering rideshare options. Since 2007 ISISPACE has been carrying out numerous successful launch campaigns for small satellites around the globe.

As PM you will be involved in both flight hardware projects, as research and development activities. In this international and dedicated team, you are responsible for the success of the project, and for coordinating teams at every stage of the product life-cycle. You work closely together with engineers, partners, and suppliers to deliver on time, within scope and within budget. You stay in close contact with both customers and suppliers, balancing between technical- and stakeholder management.

Specific tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and controlling the planning, milestones, costs, and scope (including making reports).
  • Managing day-to-day aspects of the projects.
  • Coordinating and managing internal resources and third parties/vendors on a daily basis.
  • Maintaining the relationship with customers and stakeholders.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  • Support on shipping activities and arrangement of certification documentation for satellites and/or deployers.

Job requirements

  • You have a degree in a relevant subject.
  • You have maximum 3 years of experience in project management for complex technical (hardware) systems.
  • Experience in space project management, specifically in small satellite projects would be a plus.
  • Excellent and straightforward communication skills.
  • Energetic team player with a positive and open mindset
  • A solution-driven work ethic.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
