We are looking for an assembly technician to strengthen our launch equipment team in Delft. In this role your focus lies on assembling mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment for satellite launches. You will be working in a high-performance environment, with a strong focus on precision, quality, and reliability—because in space, every detail matters.

What will you do?

  • Assemble mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment according to drawings, work instructions, and procedures.

  • Perform checks on assembled parts and systems to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.

  • Identify deviations, issues or potential risks and reporting them in a timely manner.

  • Support the preparation, maintenance and improvement of launch equipment and related hardware.

  • Work closely with engineers, technicians and other team members to ensure smooth execution of technical activities.

  • Contribute to a clean, structured and safe working environment.

  • Follow internal procedures and quality standards with a strong focus on reliability and traceability.

  • Work carefully and accurately to prevent errors during assembly and integration.

Job requirements

We are looking for someone who takes pride in precise technical work and understands the importance of quality in a space environment. You take ownership of your work and are not afraid to speak up when you spot something for improvement. Furthermore, we are looking for:

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a technical assembly, production, integration or technician role.

  • Experience with mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

  • The ability to identify mistakes, deviations or risks before they become bigger issues.

  • A precise and meticulous way of working, with strong attention to detail.

  • A strong awareness of quality and the ability to work according to procedures.

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a technical team.

  • A hands-on attitude and a structured approach to your work.

  • A sense of responsibility for the quality and reliability of the final product.

  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
